Hi, my name is Mulki. I am a recent graduate of University of Washington's Human Centered Design & Engineering department. My goal of becoming a UX Designer was to provide an effective solution to the many issues that centers the everyday and not so everyday user.
During my junior year of college, I took an introduction class in user-centered design where I learned how to develop and apply design processes and strategies. I was apart of a team of four to design a navigation application to help guide people around the University of Washington (UW) campus. Here I gained many skills concerning creating wireframes, paper prototypes, design sketches, high-fidelity mock-ups and much more.
Also at the same time, my experience working with African Student Association and the HUB Board of Representatives at the UW, has led me to gain an incredible amount of leadership skills. These skills place me in the position to communicate effectively across all mediums and to manage my time and workload in an efficient manner.
I believe that my determination to keep learning and expanding makes me an excellent fit for user experience.
